- Scope and ContentTo wife Ann £200, enough furniture to furnish one room “and no other or more than shall be really needful and absoulutely necessary”; and for life, freehold estate:- -- 3 acres in Tempsford; cottage or 2 tenements, orchard and close of pasture, in Tempsford, in the occupation of Thomas Browning and Widow Hills; cottage and parcel of ground adjoining (6 acres 3½ roods) in Roxton, late purchased of William Dotterill; after death of wife Tempsford property to nephew Luke, and Roxton property to nephew Thomas Addington. To brother Luke Addington £400: £200 three months after decease, £200 to be invested, interest to brother Peter until death of wife Ann; then principal to Luke. To wife £18 per annum from estate at Everton. To brother Peter estate at Everton for life; then to his son Sylvester. To nephew William son of Samuel Mace £100. To niece Mary wife of William Hansel £30. Remainder to brothers Peter and Luke, executors. Witnesses: Robert Hewitt, Mary Hewitt, Adams Brace.
