Deposition of Edmund Fawne that he has made 3 several journeys with process and instructions for extending the lands, but hath by the practices and devices of William Malbon, under-sheriff, and William Webb,his deputy, been deferred. Webb said “what was the order to him, he would not doe it, and tould this deponent that he was a base fellowe and bidd him doe his worst, sayeinge, he cared not, he would answere it well enough.”
