    [Details of bequests and provisions for grandchildren] To friends William Farrer of Biddenham, esquire, and Charles Battely of Westminster, esquire, messuages and lands in Great Barford, and the malting thereunto belonging, in trust for the maintenance and preferment of grandson Sandra, and for a jointure for his wife if he marry to the trustees' liking. On death of Sandra's mother, Barbara Simmons, trustees may provide money for renewal of lease of Great Barford rectory from Trinity College. To grandson Thomas, £300. To granddaughter Barbara, £200 in 2 years and £10 per annum for her present maintenance. To servant Elizabeth Brancklin, 40s. Messuage in Bedford where testator dwells to be sold; books and manuscripts to be inventoried and kept together for use of grandsons Sandra and Thomas, and none are to be lost, but a room prepared in the house at Great Barford for their careful preservation; only some divinity books may be given to granddaughter Barbara. Testator will make other provision for College Lease of messuage at Westminster.
