    Reciting the death of John Legas, late of Biggleswade, yeoman, who held of the Manor - messuage or inn in Biggleswade, formerly Edward Laundeys - 4 1/2 acres land in field next said inn - several lands formerly purchased of Edward Bray - messuage being 1/4th part of a burgage formerly belonging to Ann Carrington by his will, dated 28 June 1740, said property and property in Gamlingay, Cambs, devised to Mary Oxenbridge, or, if she died under 21, to cousin John Legas, Hadhurst, Essex. Said testator appointed guardians for said grand-daughter, Mary Oxenbridge, and they now come to to be admitted to above property
