    The indictment is endorsed 'A True Bill' but the verdict is not recorded. The verdict appears the minutes (QSM20) as follows: "The King against Edward Albone. Plea not guilty, guilty by verdict. Sentenced to be confined seven days in the common gaol at the expiration of which time to be publicly whipped at Biggleswade and discharged." The note "Bridewell" in the margin may indicate that he spent his seven days in the Bridewell rather than the county gaol
