    To wife Mary all messuages, lands, tenements etc at Pepperstock, Flamstead which lately bought of George Slow, & Messuage in Luton, where testator now lives for life 'she keeping the same in proper repair and condition'. After her death Luton messuage to nephew William Everitt (son of brother William). After her death Pepperstock estates to nephew Joseph Pain (son of late sister Mary Pain, deceased) subject to payment of £200 to nephew John Pain, who is now at or beyond sea' if alive and shall return to England and personally demand legacy within 7 years of testator's wife's death but after 3 months after her death. But if not raised then £100 each to nephews William Everitt & John Everitt (son of brother Samuel) to brother William £5. To nephew John Everitt £100 over and above £100 (above), to niece Elizabeth Dix wife of William (daughter of brother John Everitt - £100 to nephew William Pain (another of sons of late sister Mary Pain £100 all legacies after wife's death to John Sulton of Market Street, Caddington, Herts, James Gutteridge of Eaton Green, Luton, William Barnet of Hoxton, Herts, Richard Gutteridge of Cockernhoe, Offley, Herts £40 after decease of wife. As TRUSTEES to be put on Govt Stock or private security. The interest to be for the sole use and benefit of Minister of Baptist Congregation of Protestant Dissenters in Luton, to John Coles & James Pryor, executors, £5 each. Wife Mary to have full & free possession of all household yds etc. in dwelling house at Luton, then to executors to sell by Public Auction. Residue on wife's death of personal estate to all nephews & nieces of Samuel Everitt, (brother) deceased & children of late nephew & niece, Samuel Everitt & Elizabeth Arnold, both deceased. (2 other children of brother Sam), niece Elizabeth Pain (daughter of late Sister Mary Pain) & William & John Watkins (wife's nephews), Made 11 May 1779. Witnesses Samuel Chase jnr, William & Leonard Hampson. Proved London, 16 Feb 1780. Paper mark'1837' when copy was made
