Bequeaths legacy of £16,000 on trust then Pepsal End Farm & Bottom Farm at Pepperstock, Flamstead to son Arthur, made 6 Mar 1892. Proved Principal Probate Registry 19 July 1892.Elizabeth is widow of above Henry, recites contracted to sell bulk of farms to Sir H. E. Frankland etc but they have required to prove that acc. to customs of Manor no right of freebench exists. Unable to prove what custom as to freebench is in Manor of Flamstead. Bennet 'Life on the English Manor' pages 271-272) 1) quitclaims to 2) All right & intrests if any as widow of testator of copyhold lands to which Arthur Brown was admitted 25 Feb 1893.
