Land covered by Mortgage of 2 Nov 1841(see LHE 276 No.7), but here given in detail:- Allotment - 5A 1R 12P in East Hill,see LHE 276, No.7a. AND messuage then or formerly known as Hoggens with garden, premises etc.Formerly in occupance of John Long and afterwards of Richard Wielde in E pt of Houghton Regis. Sometime since in occupance ofJohn Long, afterwards of Joseph Groom and since him of Mrs Prickett. AND messuage or tenement sometime since erected by Edward French on W side of and standing on and belonging to above messuage late in occupance of John Fensham, James Gower and Edward French since in occupance of Henry Bradding, Joseph Anstee and Edward French. Were then in occupance of Henry Bradding, Dav Tayle & Edward French AND 5 messuges or tenements sometime since erected and built by Edward French on and belonging to and whereon 2 messuages, cottages or tenements then lately stood and which (except as to small pt which formed pt of the new erected tenements were sometime since pulled down. AND Orchard and piece of garden ground adj (2R 34P) late in several occs of John King, William Mooring, James Humphrey, William Deacon, & William Cumberland. Afterwards in occupance of Richard Fleckney, Richard Jefford, Thomas Messenger, John Evans and Jeremiah Wright and were then in service occs of William Tompkins, William Perkins, Daniel Fensham, Joseph Humphrey, & John Brandon.
