Sister Martha hall 2 Freehold Messuages, Cottages or tenements with yards, gardens, orchards, backsides houses, outhouses, lands etc in Wheathampstead, Herts for Life, reversion to John Hall, son of Joseph Hall, Brother in law to William Chalkley of Kingsbourn Green, Harpenden, freehold messuage, cottage, or tenement with yards, gardens, orchards, backsides,houses, outhouses, lands etc. at Kingsbourn Green, Harpenden for life. Reversion to brother in law James Hall.To Elizabeth Knight, William Chalkley's Maid Servant £20, oval table, fire shovell,& a pair of tongs, one pair of handirons, 2 hives of Bees & one old Bedstead. Brother in law James Hall 2 best coats& waistcoats & best pair of buckskin breeches at time of his decease, residue to William Chalkley (appt Sole executor).Made 14 May 1760, proved Hitchin (Archdeaconry of Huntingdon) 10 June 1760
