    Lease & Release 7-8 Apr 1830 Parties : see recitation in AD4033/2 - a close of pasture in the parish of St.Mary, Bedford, formerly in the occupation of John Smith, deceased, then of Richard Smith and John Smith, being south east part of Pilcroft closes abutting partly on King's Ditch, partly on messuage and ground formerly of Bemjamin Pulmer the of James Small on north east, on turnpike road from Bedford to Ampthill on south east, on close of arable belonging to the Duke of Bedford on south west, on next described close on north west. - another close in the occupation of Richard and John Smith, the centre part of Pilcroft Closes, abutting on garden formerly of Mary Bletsoe then of Thomas Times and partly on the King's Ditch on north east, on the last described close on the south east, partly on the Duke of Bedford's close and partly on north west part of Pilcroft;'s Closes (conveyed to benefit of William Thomas and Frances his wife) on south west, partly on last mentioned close, partly on highway to Kempston and partly on garden of Thomas Times on north west (the fences on north west to be maintained by John and Richard Smith).
