    Recites: lease and release, 7-8 April 1830 between 1) Catherine Smith, widow. 2) Hannah Smith, spinster. 3) Frances Smith, widow. 4) WilliamThomas the younger, warehouseman, and Frances his wife. 5) Richard Smith. 6) John Smith, butcher. 7) John Day, Esq. by which parties 1-6 conveyed to 7 certain closes including that to be mentioned, one moiety to the use of 5, the other to the use of 6. Recites death of 6 rendering 5 owner of the entirety. Recites contract by which Joseph Browne agreed to purchase the land as in the lease and release, but that no conveyance has yet been made; that a sub-sale has been effected to WilliamGreen. Consideration £45 paid by iii) to ii). - - piece of land in parish of St. Mary, Bedford, on east of newly formed road called Pilcroft Street. West, part of land recited above called Pilcroft Closes, measuring 28' next to Pilcroft St. and 32' at back or east end, in depth on south 53', on north 57'; abutting on east and north on ground agreed to be purchased by ii) and south by dwelling house and premises of George Dilley, carpenter. - - 2 messuages and other buildings, built by iii) on the above. - - right of foot, horse or carriageway along Pilcroft Street West running into and out of Bedford and Ampthill Road southwards and out of and into Bedford and Kempston Road northwards and set out by ii) as an accommodation road.
