Parish of Luton [125A, 2R, 22P] (BUT lands of Crawley Green Tithe No 1100, 1101, 1103, 1104. [and on plan on dorse 17 and 18 - chargeable with paying £2,12s 0d to Overseers of Luton to pay 12d every Sunday to buy 12 penny loaves to 12 poor women who have attended Divine Service that Sunday and £2 to Churchwardens and Overseers of the Parish of Ippolitts, Herts for good and charitable purpose together with all tithes arising out of No 378, 379 in Hamlet of Limbury-cum-Biscott called Winche's Dallow Mead and Winches Dallows. Abs one end Highway from Luton to Stapleford and at the other upon the Church Path from Luton to Someries, then late in occupance of Anthony Sherlock and then of Richard Olney. There described as being in Sewell Field in Luton (3A) lying by Stockholm Bridge closes Abs E. land late of Mrs Ettricks. W footpath Luton to Biscott at on end on 4) Stockholm Bridge closes and at other end on path from Stockholm Bridge to the Windmill. [Tithe No 1251] [3A, 1R, 39P] on plan on dorse '9', 9 Nov 1759. AND piece of arable , Luton called Woods Close (part of which was purchased by William Cox of Daniel Tombs and others. Described as 2 closes of arable and pasture [15A] called Nether Winches Dollars and were interwoven, Luton then in occupance of Francis Wilkins and William Green, his tenant.
