Thomas Field the Younger' (son & heir apparent of Thomas Field & son & heir of Mary, the late wife of Thomas Field, the elder, William Rust of Luton, Malster (lately purchased below from Field) 2) William Barker of Hitchin, Herts, Gent (Tenant to Precipe) 3) Joseph Field of Hitchin; Malster, Capital Messuage or tenement & Malthouse, Luton in or near Hog Lane late in occupance of Thomas Blackbourne, deceased, & now in occupance of William Rust Cottage or tenement etc. (next to Messuage) late in occupance of William Nash & since in occupance of Matthew Wingrave messuage & cottage abs:- E lane above, W close of pasture near Bell Inn, & all other messuages near Hog Lane, Luton [Note see Austin's History of Luton Vol II p.78 for 'Old Bell Inn, which stood on corner of Chapel Street (Hog Lane) & George Street] AND messuage or farmhouse at Thrales End, Luton, closes & pieces of land & pasture as described in LHE136b except 1/2A in West Field omitted because in Hertfordshire & would require a seperate common Recovery of its own, & 'Pheasey' now Peatley.
