Messuage or tenement called Gibralter & known by sign of King's Head near Pepsall End, Flamstead, Herts, near Great Road leading from Harpenden alias Harding to Luton where John Lewis dwells (lately erected & built by Joseph Osman)with outhouses, buildings, barns & stables & closes & fields belonging vizt:- Homefield Orchard, Woodfield, Apsfield, Longlands,Upper Heavens, Pegs Pightle, Highway Field, Gravelly Field, Heavens Woods & Springs (57A) all in Pepsall End, Flamstead.AND Close of arable called Common Hart, Luton (10A) now in occupance of Joseph Osman & William Howes. Consideration :- Crawley received £1200 from Hastings & £80 from Osman (part of £1800) i.e. £600 still owed,6 Ap 1731. Endorsement.
