    1) Will of William Bacon of Borough of St. Albans, Herts, Gentleman to wife for life:- 2 freehold farms, one of them called Wystock in Wheathamstead & Harpenden then in occupance of Joseph Trustram AND the other called Thrale End, Luton & Harpenden, Beds & Herts and then in occupance of James Gutteridge. Then after her death, Thrale End Farm, Luton & Harpenden, Beds & Herts AND 1/9th part or share of Butterley Farm in Ashover, Derbyshire, to son William for life, then to children if lawfully begotten. If more than one then to be equally divided between them. BUT if default, then one moiety to son John Newball Bacon, then to his children with reversion in event of default. Other moiety to son William as above but in default to son Samuel Owtram Bacon & assigns for ever, made 19 June 1807, proved London 11 Oct 1807. 2) Will of Samuel Owtram Bacon of York Place, City Road, Middlesex, Esq. on death of father, mother, brother William, entitled to Remainder in fee expectant on death of his brother John Newball Bacon & failure of his issue in Wystock Farm, Harpenden, Herts. & remainder in fee expectant on death of his brother in 2 cottages on Harpenden Common, Herts, and 2 fields of arable land at or near Harpenden then or formerly in occupance of William Sears & fee simple:- Moiety of farm called Thrales End Farm in Beds & Herts & 1/9th share of Butterley Farm, Ashover, Derbys. & of the remainder in fee simple on death of brother of Thrales End Farm & 1/9th share above. To friends Samuel Wilson of Old Jury, London, Silk Manufacturer, Joseph Gibbs Barker of Hackney, Middlesex, Gentleman as trustees for John Turner Bacon, Wystock:- Charge estate with £300 & 5% interest to Mary & Sophia if reach 21 on remainder falling in Thrales End revokes son John's inheritance of it, to son Samuel but subj to £300 to testator's daughter Emma if 21, if other children £400 & interest at 5% on remainder falling in Trustees Power of Mortgage or Sale Power to appt new Trustees, made 27 Dec 1827. Codicil, 3 children born since Will:- Sarah, William & Richard Pritchett ... raises Thrale End Farm to £600, 27 Dec 1827 proved London 8 June 1852 & proved London 4 Mar 1857, death of John Newball Bacon died 25 May 1833 without leaving issue. 3) Will of Samuel Bacon, residing at Columbrie Island of Jersey Esq (devisee of Will of Samuel Owtram Bacon, his father to Sarah Johanna his wife all real estate in Herts & Beds made 11 Dec 1850, proved London 14 May 1851.
