    Thrales End Farm.At the time of the Luton Tithe Map 1842 there were two Thrale End Farms on opposite sides of the road. On the west side lay firstly cottages (No 2112) held with the farm on the east side of the road. To its south lay a close (2114) also held with the farm on the east side. To its south lay the farm on the west side of the road owned originally by the Bacon family [No 2116 & Deeds On the east side lay another farm [No 2134 & 2135], which was conveyed to John Shaw Leigh by the Hale Family 12 Nov 1858 [LHE 58a] By 1880's [Ordnance Survey], there are still cottages approximately on the site of 2112. On 2114 has been built the new Thrales End Farm & the farm on 2116 has been pulled down. On 2134 there are still domestic buildings called Thrale End Cottages but the farm has been pulled down.
