    Of York Place, City Road, Middlesex, Esq, eldest son John Turner Bacon 3 freehold messuages in Golden Lane, Parish of St. Luke, Middlesex now in occupance of Shackles 7 others. To son Samuel:- 3 freehold cottages in Colchester, Essex in possession of Charles Heath. Right & interest in Portlysky estate near St. Davids, South Wales, which he holds under Bp of St Davids for life of Miss Eliza Pritchett. Under will of father William Bacon deceased & in consequence of death of his mother & failure of issue of late brothe William Bacon entitled to remainder on decease of brother John Newball Bacon without issue in Wystock Farm, Harpenden, Herts, 2 cottages, Harpenden Green, Herts & 2 fields of arable at Harpenden now or formerly in occupance of William Seares. Moiety of Thrales End Farm, Beds & Herts. 1/9th share Butterley Farm, Derbyshire (Ashover) expectant on death of brother J.B.other moiety Thrales End Farm & 1/9th share to friends Samuel Wilson of Old Jewry, London, Silk Manufacturer & Joseph Gibbs Barker of Hackney, Middlesex, Gentleman as trustees for son John Turner Bacon but in case Wystock shall come into possession of John Newball Bacon's death charged with £300 charge to each daughter Mary & Sophia when 21 with interest at 5% but if Thrales End moiety falls in then son Samuel to get whole farm charged with £300 for daughter Emma and if any after born child as shall reach 21 to share £400 (5% interest) power of Trustees to mortgage, lease up to 14 years and sell to wife Mary £200, household furniture etc. Request to split what remains equally between children (Not a trust) to son John Turner Bacon Holloways. Engravings from the Cartoons, Trustees to purchase others such ones that are published & give them to John, to daughter Mary, gold watch & chain that was her late mothers & minature picture of her mother. To daughter Sophia: Gold neckchain, bracelets & large cornelian Broach which were her mother's, all rest of jewellery to be divided equally between children living at decease, brother John Newball Bacon, Samuel Wilson, Joseph Gibbs Barker (3 executors) & Robert GArner of Foster Lane, London, Ironmonger, £50 each & a ring each. Residue to executors as trustees a) to invest in public funds to raise annuity of £200 pa to wife Mary for sole use b) invest for children till 21 - annual income for education & maintenance. Surplus to be invested can use money for clerkship or apprenticeship. Reversion to Survivors . Residue of personal effects, stocks & funds to wife, made 24 Sep 1821. 1st Codicil recites clause re Trustees & Bank stocks by virtue of will of brother William & in event of brother John Newball Bacon dying without issue children of Samuel when 21 will inherit after death of a) Mary Bacon widow of William, b) John Newball Bacon c) himself, to other moiety of residuary estate of William or stocks, funds etc in which invested, leave Mary further annuity of £100 pa on death of widow Mary Bacon if John Newball Bacon dies without issue then another £100 annuity to wife Mary had 3 children since: Sarah, William & Richard Pritchett. Charges Thrales End Farm with £600 (interest at 5%) made 27 Dec 1827, 2nd codicil (now described as of No.65, York Place), Samuel Wilson, now an Alderman of City of London. Barker removed as Executor & Trustee, health precarious, add instead John Turner Bacon (son) & Ebenezer Burnett of Islington (both to accept £200) 14 Apr 18--, 1st proved 8 Jun 1832, 2nd proved 4 Mar 1857
