- Scope and ContentAt Revd. R. Wade Gery's, Stretton Granddison Rectory, Ledbury, Herefordshire [not Herts]. Dear Willy, I hear you are now residing in Montgomeryshire - it is a long time since I heard of or from you. I hope dear Hessy [daughter Hester Wade-Gery] recovered, for she was very poorly when I was last staying with you all at Norman Cross. Did you ever get uncle Robert's letter ? Let me know how you and your wife and children are. I came here ten days ago. Since I saw you we have lost three relatives. Capt. Raynes died about a month ago - Robert's daughter Blanch died of a fever - Nelly Chawner had a lingering illness. Your affectionate aunt, D.B.Browne.
