Bushmead Priory, to Mademoiselle Milnes, Paris. Sorry for mistake made in payment at the legacies, with long explanation of cause. Various singers mentioned. It must have been very pleasant to your Brother Charles to have met an old school fellow. That gentleman's uncle Mr Wilshire I remember very well, he was the Chairman at our Quarter Sessions. Your cousin Glynne [Earle] Welby, has lately Married Miss [Frances] Cholmeley, dau of Sir Montagu. Mrs Hedding of St Neots died about 3 weeks ago. My cousin Miss Twentyman died about the same time, also our Housekeeper Parker, whom you remember, and who had lived with us many years, died last summer.
