- TitleWilliam Tomblin to Mr.Hull, Overseer. Has had no work since he has been in London. Asks for a little money. Could not have stopped so long without the aid of a few friends. Is in a place that would suit if he could stay, but can't stop unless Overseer sends some money. Has been "whanting of Bread since he has been in London". Does not want to return to the Country. Assures Overseers it will be better for them & for himself for him to be in London as if he was to work in the Country he would be laid up again "for I hant stout and never shall be".. Can get his bread better in London than in the Country because he has been used to the stables in London. Directs money to be sent by Mr. Ingly on Thursday next "or home I must come"
