Thomas Matthews, steward of the Royal Sea Bathing Infirmary, to Mr. Hull. Acknowledging receipt of £2 for William Tomlins. He is much better, and has employment at Margate from Mr.Beale to drive one of the bathing machines, which brings him about 10s. a week. He is anxious to remain as long as possible, but lodging is so dear that he must have been compelled to return home sooner had it not been for the Overseers' assistance.
