Leadenham. Mr. [Rev T] Brown took your letter to Beckingham for Charles to read to Papa [John Milnes]. He has suppressed gout. Very good nurse in Hale the Upper Maid. If it will give you satisfaction and comfort Nanny to look after him, we shall be most happy to see you. James Grubbe has been at Beckenham for a day.
