By-Election of 1874 - Borough of Northampton. Address by W. Banks, General Secretary of the Amalgamated Labour League, to the chairman of Mr C. Bradlaugh's committee. Although against Bradlaugh's religious opinions, thinks he is the candidate to help agricultural labourers by fighting to reform the land and electoral laws, repeal the game laws and 'oppose all further robbery of common land'.
