School admission register.The following information is given: admission number: date of admission/readmission: name in full: name of parent or guardian: residence (few precise addresses in early years): whether exemption from religious instruction is claimed: date of child’s birth: last school attended (if any): whether school was a public or elementary school: time in other schools ( seldom or never used): standard in which last presented (only used until c.1908); date of presentation in successive standards in this school (seldom used: columns soon altered to show pupils’ history of infectious disease; measles, whooping cough, chicken pox, dipheria, scarlet fever and mumps, 1909-1920); date of leaving school: remarks. Note at the end of the register that all seniors remaining in the School were transferred to the new Senior School Shefford [i.e Robert Bloomfield School] in June 1938
