Price late of Millbrook gent. decd. (v) Wm. Barnwell of Millbrook, clerk and John Tuffnaile of Elstow gent. Recites 4 Feb. 1689 (i) Wm. Price and w. Kath. (ii) Geo. Stoughton gent. since decd., Wm. Barmwell, John Tuffnayle, Tho. Kent of Ridgmont gent., reciting that £400 was lodged in the hands of John Hind of London brewer with the consent of Price and wife as security for several purposes; it was agreed that the £400 should be paid to Stoughton, Barnwell,Tuffnayle and Kent on trust to purchase lands in Bedfordshire, to be settled on Price and wife. Will of Price: legacies amounted to £500 towards payment of which he left the said £400. Stoughton is dead, Kent refused to act. Mortgage 17 Oct. 1687 for £100 John Hill to Wm. Boteler of Biddenham, esq. -- Tippings close, on the east part of a lane leading from Hall End Green to Wood End Green, adjoining a messuage sometime occupied by John Hawkins to south. Assignment 18 Jan. 1697 Boteler to Doro. Crow of Berkhampstead, Herts. spinster, who married Wm. Disher of London, merchant. Assignment 3 Sept. 1700 Disher to Wm. Manley.
