    '... being at this present much distempered in body'. To sister Mary 40s. p.a. for 3 years for her upbringing. Executrix is to find and maintain brother Francis in sufficient meat, drink and clothing for 4 years; then out of portion left him by his father he is to be apprenticed. Wife Joan is to have full benefit of house and homestall in which testator now lives and also 35 acres land in Wootton and Kempston for 14 years; she is not to cut any timber during that time. After the 14 years are up, premises to daughter Anne. To poor of Wootton 20s. To wife house and pightle in Wootton Boat End, late occupied by Tho. Hill decd. and remainder of goods. Exex. wife Joan. Overseers: neighbours Hen. Fowkes and Wm. Babington to whom 5 s. for their pains. Wtns. Edm. Allen, Hen. Fowkes, Tho. Watts.
