- Scope and ContentShefford. Had meant to send the doileys immediately I left Bushmead. Have applied to Mr. Okely who will send them. Will be unable to procure any tea before the spring, but will when a chest arrives. Hope health is better. Regret they are not nearer neighbours to Bushmead. Tell Mr. Gery there is likely to be an election and hope he will remember Osborn. Mrs. Fielding you thought had died is now at Chicksands in good health. Shefford is very unhealthy, also many neighbouring villages, the typhus fever prevailing. Mr. Whitbread is very ill of it. Ann desires to unite with me in respects.
