Bill of complaint, answers, further answers, writs: Corporation of Bedford against Althania Prieuix, widow of Matthew Prieaix, town clerk, deceased. Said Prieuix was also schoolmaster of the Free School; he kept all the Corporation records in his own home, and not in the Evidence House belonging to the Corporation, and his widow refused to return them to the Corporation; with list of burgesses who resigned during his clerkship and were resworn in 1738 - 1739.
