    Recites:- conveyance in trust, 20 Feb. 1632/3: i Richard Gery of Bushmead esquire ii Sir Robert Carr[e] of Sleaford, Lincolnshire, baronet, Sir Lodovic Dyer of Great Staughton, Huntingdonshire, baronet, Sir James Harrington of Ridlington, Rutland, knight, George Francklyn of Bolnhurst, gentleman, Nicholas Francklyn of Lincoln's Inn, esquire iii Dame Katherine Dyer of Colmworth, widow. ---- the manor and site of the late dissolved priory, and messuages and lands in Eaton, Roxton, Colmworth, Barford, Keysoe, Bolnhurst; demised 20 June 1585 by William Gery esquire, grandfather of Richard, to son William Gery junior for 300 years; assigned 1587- 8 by Wm. Gery junior to son Richard; act of Parliament 1661: lands of Sir James Harrington as at 25 March 1645/6 and since forfeit, but exempting trust lands if enrolled before 1 January 1662/3 in Exchequer; deed of 20 February 1632/3 was not so enrolled. Richard Sherwyn, who has become "lawfully interested" in the premises finds his title defective, and has petitioned accordingly.
