    Copies of Conveyance (Lease and Release): (1) William Beane, Elstow, wheelwright, and wife Mary, one of the two daughters and heirs of William Lane, late of Bedford, gentleman, deceased (2) Francis Brace junior, Bedford, gentleman. Reciting indenture 20 November 1702 between: (i) William Beane and wife Mary (ii) Humphrey Calton, Bedford, apothecary, being mortgage (demise 500 years) by (i) to (ii) to secure £51 10s of (among other properties) all that moiety of full half part of a cottage or tenement in Bedford now used for a stable and hayloft by John Truelove, then the occupier, being a corner tenement, with: West and North - St Pauls Churchyard; East - the Fish Markett Street and a way leading to the River; North - ground of Mr Bamford; South - River Ouze. By (1) to (2) for £30, moiety or full half part of cottage or tenement or hard and premises in Bedford St Paul in the several occupations of John Truelove and John Saunders.
