Lease by (1) to (2) for 11 years from Michaelmas of a messuage or tenement in the parish of St Paul, Bedford, being a Corner House abutting south on Gaol Lane (27 feet) and bounded on the west by the Street now called White Horse Street, and formerly called Duck Lane: West - part by building belonging to Corporation in occupation of William Hill; North - two messuages belonging to the Corporation hereinafter demised; East and North - premises in occupation of John Ames belonging to the Corporation, and part on premises of Robert Castleman; East - premises belonging to the Corporation now in occupation of Mark Kimment. Also two messuages in parish of St Paul abutting west on White Horse Street, and heretofore leased by the Corporation to William Hill, stable keeper. Annual rent: £7. Witness: D. Gregory, Town Clerk.
