  • Scope and Content
    The dimensions of the place which he is to have shall be between the four posts which support the east end of the said Hall, that is to extend from the two Northern supporting posts to the two Southern supporting posts and to extend from North to South on a supposed straight line drawn by the West side of the two Westmost of the said four posts, and from the Westmost of the said two posts on the North side, to the Westmost of the said two posts on the South side, so far about towards the street as the outward benches and the eves of the said Hall. (2) not to blind or blanket up, or otherwise annoy the shop under the said Moot Hall, and weekly or oftener as need shall be to cleanse and sweep the ground and keep it from spoil or damage. Also to repair and amend the posts and benches.
