- Scope and ContentWhereof one is called Crosleysplace and lies between the tenement of the Prior of Cauldwell on East and that of the Master of the Hospital of St John Baptist on West, and abuts on the King's highway North; and the other tenement is called Shirwodys and lies nearly opposite the said tenement on the other side of the street, and extends from the tenement of St Leonard on West by ("per") the King's highway to a parcel of land of St Thomas on the Bridge ("parcellam terr' sancti Thome super pontem") on East, and abuts on the common ditch ("fossatum commune") (?the King's Ditch).
