Grant: William Sp(ar)we to John Spicer, both of Bedford. A tenement with a house built thereon next the way lying between the tenement of the grantor and that of the grantee, in the parish of St Paul, and extending from the tenement of Robert Baker on North to the King's highway towards the well ("fontem") on South, and having breadth at the North end extending from the tenement of the said John next the wall of the said Robert Baker to a certain boundary ("metam") there settled between the parties, extending from the said boundary in a straight line ("linialiter") to the abovesaid corner house of the said John.
