    releasing Mr Cecil Brown from position of executor at his own request and appointing Mr Holbourn in his place. ‘…She wishes you also to include in the said codicil the three bequests named in the two notes enclosed herewith – which she omitted to record, when giving instructions for her will. I doubt if either the bequests as specified or the names of the beneficiaries are sufficiently clear for identification…so if necessary you will please ask her for more particulars…’ 12 Feb 1931 Note dated 20 May 1929 – locket to Isabella, Miss Impey, pale blue china tea service to faithful parlour maid Dorothy, Mrs S Bunker. Note dated 20 Aug 1929 – J H Brooks’ 2 swords and case of medals to John only son of cousin Edmund Brooks.
