    - cousin George Cecil Herbert Brown and Andrew Hawkins Tanqueray of Clophill appointed executors and trustees - real estate in trust to use of cousin Robert Adolphus Lyall, second son of Sir Alfred Lyall during his life without impeachment of waste but charged with annual payment of £100 to each of cousins Rev George Cornwall Brooks and Cecil Brooks during their lives. After death of Robert Adolphus Lyall to use of George Cornwall Brooks during his life and to the use of the first and other sons of G C Brooks according to their respective seniorities in tail male with ultimate remainder to the use of cousin Edmund Brooks his heirs and assigns. - to Edith, wife of G C Brooks diamond brooch or pendant and two diamond earrings now made into brooches and old point lace lappets and crown, if she predecease testatrix then to her eldest living daughter. - to cousin May Egerton Armstrong my diamond hoop ring and silver teapot jug and basin - to cousin Edmund Brooks my large round Silver Salver, one of my small silver salvers and my silver sugar basin with handle - to cousin Cecil Brooks another small silver salver - to Ronald Bird the son of my cousin Trevor Bird my small silver tea set. - to cousin Georgina Mitchell the oval presentation silver salver my silver cruet and double hoop diamond ring. - to Robert Adolphus Lyall pair of silver and glass fruit dishes and if married mother’s diamond ring, if unmarried ring goes to his sister Evelina Miller. - cousin and god-child Katherine Madeline Brooks locket miniature of great grand-mother Mrs Hatfield. - to god-daughter Cordelia Evangeline Carlson, daughter of cousin Francis Davis, pearl and diamond necklace and pendent - to Eileen Marianne Armstrong, the daughter of May Armstrong, locket miniature of Mrs Hatfield with gold setting. - to cousin Catherine Brown, old point lace from Mrs Bedford, diamond solitaire earrings and emerald and diamond ring. - to cousin Hon. Mrs Walter Verney, tourmaline necklet and opal ring or if she predecease testatrix then to her daughter Clare. - to Constance, wife of Edmund Brooks, pearl bracelet and diamond crescent brooch. - to Edith Murray, small pearl and diamond necklace and star. - to Louisa Bassett, carbuncle ring and one Bartelozzi print - to Catherine Snow, gold and diamond ring and carbuncle bracelet with heart drop. - Other plate and household furniture etc. to go as part of settled estate - other plate not otherwise disposed of to be equally divided between George Cornwall Brooks, Edmund Brooks and Cecil Brooks. - residue to trustees upon trust subject to the legacies of - £300 to May Egerton Armstrong or if she predecease testatrix, her son Alexander Armstrong. - £200 to cousin Evelyn Moore - £100 to Cecil Brooks - £100 each to trustees - £100 to cousin Alice Bentley Taylor - £200 Frances Davis - £50 to head gardener George Knibbs if in my service at the time of my death - residue to Edmund Brooks.
