William Edward Sackville West, late a Lieutenant Colonel in H.M. Regiment of Grenadier Guards, of Lime Grove, Bangor, North Wales, and Sackville Arthur Cecil Esq., commonly called the Rt.Hon Lord Sackville Arthur Cecil of the Oast House, Hayes Common, Bromley, Kent. (The Trustees) Recites the Ecclesiastical Leasing Act, 1858; will of Francis Duke of Bedford, 7 May 1861; death of Francis Duke of Bedford on 14th May 1861, and proving of the will on 31 July 1861; death of William Duke of Bedford without issue on 26 May 1872; deed of settlement dated 9 October 1874; appointment of new trustees 31 January 1883; Conveyance of the Battlesden Estate to the Duke of Bedford, 30 April 1885. Whereas exchange of lands between 1) and 3) is proposed and approval of 2) has been obtained NOW Conveyance by 1) with consent of 2) and 3) to 4), of: - all that piece or parcel of land (part of the Glebe lands) in Battlesden (1a. 3r. 9p.), being O.S. plot no.53, as described in the first schedule and coloured green on the plan ALSO Conveyance by 4) to 1) with consent of 3), of: - all those three pieces or parcels of land in the parish of Potsgrove (together 1a. 3r. 9p.) being parts of O.S. plot nos. 118, 121 and 122, as described in the second schedule and coloured pink on the plan.
