Black [Rector 1759-1775] on the missing part of the register from 1679-1718, "observable on my first receiving it in 1759"; at front: Perambulation of Potsgrove Parish, Ascension Day, 15 May 1760 [detailed]; note "the marriage register is in the possession of Wm Betley, parish clerk, 1774"; Copies of inscriptions on two flat gravestones near the Reading desk, relating to the Saunders family 1535 and 1555, copied in 1727; various texts and mottos, written c.1730; note on the induction of William Capell M.A. (formerly Rector of Stogumber, Somerset) as curate of Battlesden and Potsgrove, and Rector of Milton Bryan [1710] and afterwards as Rector of Battlesden and Potsgrove, March 1726/7; Note on the union of the benefices of Battlesden and Potsgrove by Richard, Bishop of Lincoln, 6 June 1732.
