Letter from H R J Swaffield to John Hatfield Brooks. ‘…At the time of Mr M C Keep’s death, he (Reuben Keep) said the widow would like to be released as early as possible…I hear Anstee wishes to keep the farm on as he has neither home or occupation. I really cannot see where the capital will come from to carry on the farm. I have written to Mr Keep.’
