Letter from William Chesher of Houghton Conquest. ’I have taken the liberty to write to inform how the place is for repair the rails of the mill are very much out of repair, one peek stone wanted which will cost about £5. I have order one because we cant do without but a very little wile. The hose winder aches are dropping out the barn plans are worne out.’
