    - to John Bolding of Ampthill surgeon my fee farm rents at Flitwick ‘and it is my will request and desire that the said John Bolding shall not come into any trouble or disturbance on any account whatsoever for his kind assistance in my late distresses either from James Hesse or his wife Ann. - to John Bolding all my goods now in Mrs Mary Leach’s House in Ampthill viz. my mahogany bureaux, my clock round trunk little trunk boxes my leather bed boulsters blankets and linen and a writing table lined with green cloth. - to Mary Leach, widow £20 to be paid half a year after my death. - to Ann Farnell, daughter of Mary Leach, £5 to be paid half a year after my death. - to John Bolding all my plate, short gun and pistol - to Ann wife of James Hesse £5 to be paid one year after my death. - to John Bolding residue of estate - John Bolding sole executor. Witnesses Wm Poulton, Wm Buraidge and John Paddon. Annotated on back ‘The fee farm rents that he has devised to Bolding were not his, but were entailed by Dr Dell upon his daughter and her issue general by the first codicil to his will. By the general words the part of Irchester that he had the fee of as excepted on the marriage settlement passed to Bolding for his life who sold it to the testators daughter as if he had the fee simple.’
