Whereas Thomas Partridge is since dec'd & the sd. prems. are vested in Joseph & John Field & John Partridge And the £200 purchase money was paid by William Harrison & James Richardson, overseers, in pursuance of the will of Elizabeth Boteler, dec'd; dated 22nd July 1706 [see P74/25/3] leaving £200 to the use of the poor of Biddenham, to be put out to interest until land bought & the profits distributed to the poor at Christmas & Whitsuntide for ever
