    Regular expenditure includes cleaning, washing surplice, purchase of communion bread and wine, visitation fees and expenses, ringers, minor repairs to church fabric and fittings, upkeep and maintenance of Town Clock, parish land and property (repairs etc.), with occasional Vestry minutes re election of officers etc., 1793 and 1836-7. Occasional expenditure includes: 1782-3 Repairs to door and thatch of poor house 1788-9 [accounts at back of volume - not in sequence] 1791 Mason's work and thatching at the Church Farm 1792 Presenting various parishioners to the Archdeacon's Court, and penance of Keziah Cook [see also ABCP 378-9] 1803 Fetching and laying stone "for the Curch road" 1811 Sale of timber from the Church Estate 1812 Payment of £60 to the [Inclosure] Commissioners 1817 New lead and repairs to church roof 1822 Work on Churchyard gate Preparation of new terrier of church and parish 1824 Tower repairs (£51) by Mr. Berrill 1827 Repairs to church including new lead 1830 Purchase of 2100 bricks and 50 paving tiles and work on church floor etc. 1837 Repairs to Church clock by Mr. Clare (£6 6s.)
