Title
Leighton Buzzard Inclosure. Bundle of objections to situations of allotments, 1845, including
objections from:
William Chew, miller, concerning land which if built upon would
considerably affect the working of his windmill;
Edward Dawson, a builder, whose old land on the east of the road
from Leighton to Woburn is in a situation very advantageous for
building ground;
Ric. Wallace .. 'Mr Henry Samuel as occupied my Land .. for the
last 30 years at Sixteen Pounds per Year, and any practible
Farmer or Gardener must admit that the piece of wild sand
you have alloted to me ... is not worth half the above rent ..
