BO1/1-81 were deposited in June 1938 and are the title deeds of a small estate at Toddington purchased by Mr Aubrey Boutwood. (Accession 1391) BO1 - 2016 are a solicitor's deposit, and relate to Leighton Buzzard & Neighbourhood. The firm was founded before 1785 by D. Willis, and remained in the Willis family until acquired by Messrs Thornley & Boutwood of 13 High Street, Leighton Buzzard in 1942 - 1943. The documents were deposited by Mr Boutwood in May 1943 & 1945 (Accession 1617 & 1665). the firm is now Simpson & Co.
