Rhoda much better. Mr Peck allowed her downstairs on Monday. Walked on gravel walk. Has had beef steak and porter. Mr Gorham has called. Mr Gorham has left his wife at the Lautens where she will await her confinrment. We have had favourable accounts of my wife's sister Mrs Dunn. Her other sister, Miss Birtill, is now with us. Remembrances to Miss Curtis and the children. With pencilled note from Rhoda Martyn about clothes and a trunk.
