- Scope and ContentWill give notice that Holy Communion must be postponed to 1st Sunday after Trinity. Rhoda sends her love. My son is well and will go on Thursday to meet Jane at Bedford. I have gone on at Church with Mr Ridley's assistance in the afternoon, and Mr Peacock's, instead of my grandson's, in the morning. Peter Brown wishes to be baptized. Sarah Richards is so much better as to have been not only at Church but even at my son's chapel - on foot. I get through the service with difficulty. I hope you will abate somewhat in your exertions, both sabbatical and weekly. I wish your sister could come to enforce my admonitions. My grandson Thomas has left Oxford and is with his cousins at Ludgershall.
