Docwra of Putteridge, esq., Jn. Chester, esq. (son & heir of Sir Anthony), Pynsent Charnock, esq. (son & heir of Sir Villiers), & Simon Urlin of Ampthill, gent.; in trust the sum of £700 to purchase lands, etc., and to apply the rents equally to the churchwardens & overseers of Ampthill, Maulden, Millbrook & Ridgmont, "for the putting out and placeing poor children within the said townes to some honest trades". [Numerous personal bequests, relating chiefly to non-Beds. persons].
