Probate of the will of William Hogge of Billington, yeoman.
made 15 Feb. 1677/8; proved Pec. L.B. 10th June 1678
to sister Eliz. Hogge, a pightle or orchard in Billington which he
purchased of Richard Hogge, 'the timber of hovill in
my yard now loaded with wheate to bee removed and sett upp
uppon the said wicke pightle or orchard aforesaid and to
be Ruffed at the Cost and charges of my Executors hereafter
mentioned and all my bees except one stocke which I give to
Ann the wife of Thomas Finch of Hockliffe .. grocer and
alsoe one more of my stocks of bees I give to Mary Nash my
Maid Servant that now liveth with mee And my will is that
the Roufe of my said Hovill shall bee roufed with timber
to bee cutt of the said Orchard or pightle..'
to Eliz. Finch, dau. of Thos. Finch, the youngest brown bullock now
in his yard;
to William Miller of Norchurch-hill and John Miller his brother, land
in Billington bought of Thos. Townsend;
to John Hogge son of brother John Hogge, one ewe and lamb;
to Eliz. Hogge dau. of bro. John Hogge deced. one ewe and lamb 'to tbe
the next as I shall have Eaned in my flocke'
