Sam White, steward Presentment by the homage at the instance of William Mead of Leighton Buzzard, carpenter and joiner, that William Mead was admitted as customary tenant to cottage and acre of customary arable land as devisee under will of his cousin John Howard deced. at a court held 31 October 1796, but the surrender made by John Howard to the uses of his will though mentioned in the admittance is not found recorded on the court rolls. On 21st May 1796 John Howard surrendered copyhold estate (then in occ. Thos. Smallbones and Martha Fravill) to the uses of his will
